Editorial Charter

At Quaest, journalism is a responsibility. Every article we publish is governed by six non-negotiable principles.

1. Truth First Every claim is supported by a verifiable source. We clearly distinguish facts, analysis, and opinion. If we cannot verify information, we do not publish it.

2. Absolute Impartiality Quaest takes no political, ideological, or commercial stance. On contested topics, all serious perspectives are represented fairly. Disputed information is explicitly flagged.

3. Radical Completeness Every article answers Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How. A reader must leave fully informed.

4. Expert Accessibility Our content satisfies domain specialists and first-time readers alike. Technical terms are always explained on first use.

5. Context and Consequences Every story is placed in its historical, scientific, or geopolitical context. Every article ends with an analysis of short-term and long-term consequences.

6. Journalistic Ethics We never sensationalize, never mislead, and never omit information that would change a reader’s understanding. Errors are corrected immediately and transparently.

Corrections Policy If an error is identified after publication, a correction notice is added at the top of the article within one hour. Significant corrections are announced on all Quaest social media accounts.
